Comeroo,s own mineral spa

Pictured here with Sydney Weekender Host Mike Whitney another of Comeroo's great features that taps into the Great Artesian Basin

Many visitors seeking to relax, unwind and ease their aches and pains head straight for the spa. Visitors to comeroo have attested to the remedial effect the mineral waters have on such ailments as muscular complaints, arthritis and rheumatism.
Mineral rich artesian water rises from one kilometre down in the Earth’s crust. The waters are fed by rain in the sandstone layers of the catchment area and are pressurised before it rises, so our guests can bathe in its wonderful therapeutic qualities.

Calcium and magnesium are vital for the growth and maintenance of bone; while sodium and chlorine give the body fluids their composition and stability. The sodium carbonate found in artesian water opens pores, cleanses the body, and acts as a mild antiseptic to relieve itching and skin irritations. This helps in the healing of skin ailments such as dermatitis and psoriasis. Sodium, when combined with chlorine (to become salt) , is one of the principal constituents of lymph, and leaves the body feeling relaxed and refreshed. Calcium and sulphate are also principle cures of diseases of the veins, bronchial infections, neuritis, sciatica and arthritis.
